Revocation Period for Severance Agreements

I am looking for a resource to find out which States have laws regarding the revocation period employers must provide to separating employees after they sign a severance agreement.

I am aware of the Minnesota Human Rights Act that requires a 15 day revocation period, wondering what other States have simiar laws.

Congrats on your first post and welcome to the forum! As far as a resource that lists that information by state, other than doing a simple Google search I'm not sure where to guide you. I do know that states are different - we had to do some agreements in WI a few years ago and there was a 7 day revocation period for anyone over 40 (or was it 21? I can't remember!). The easiest course of action may be to ask an attorney with access to Westlaw or a similar website.

SNC offers good advice for states. .ADEA is 21 days to consider but may sign sooner, 7 days to revoke. Florida does not have any that I am aware of .
